This vintage Advent calendar has beautiful illustrations of a festive winter scene at the North Pole. There are 24 little doors to open, each with a picture that shows Santa's elves and various critters getting the North Pole ready for Christmas. 

The top of the calendar says "North Pole Village Advent Calendar." The bottom right corner says "Merry Christmas! From:" and has a blank space to write someone's name. 

The scene has various buildings, including a mail room, candy factory, elf training school, tailor shop, wood shop, deer wash, and gift wrap room. 

The calendar can be used over and over again every year, but some of the doors don't stay shut completely. 

The calendar is in good condition except for a small pin hole at the top and a name written in pen on the back, as shown in the last photo. The calendar is not dated, but is likely from the early 1980s.
